So my initial apple air had a defect in the upper corner. It was a chip or something that was very small but bothered me.

I took it back to the apple store on Saturday and they replaced it with a brand new one.
2 problems.
1.) initial purchase was with gift card and credit card
2.) I had already activated VZW wireless for $20 for the month

I was told there wasn't anything they could do about the wireless but the return would all go back on my credit card. The return didn't go back on my credit card so I was basically had a new apple air that cost me an extra $70 or so because of the defect/return.

I called today to see if they could put the GC money back on my credit card etc and explained I didn't expect anything for the VZW money as I would need to take that up with them.

After being on hold with a nice guy for 20 mins or so they said there wasn't a lot they could do since it was already on the gift card but he asked if I would like a new apple tv free of charge.

In the end, for me, I am happy with the outcome and once again pleased with the support I have gotten :-)
