Web directories
On my site I'
ve got a directory that I uploaded a bunch of my stupid video clips and stuff, basically with the idea in mind that if I ever wanted to get a hold of one that I didn'
t have on me, I could just go to this directory, choose the one I wanted from the list, and download it. It was a test as much as anything, because if it worked I could do the same thing with other personal files that I needed to move (obviously password-protecting those directories). The problem is, when I go to the directory, I get a 403 forbidden... I accessed the directory by FTP and made sure the permission were set as 755 (read/write/execute for me, read/execute for all others), but it still doesn'
t work. If I type in the entire URL for the file, it works fine, but I just can'
t get to the web directory, I thought that that'
s turned on by default... any ideas?
