New Laptop
our family recently got a new laptop (dell latitude D520), but I thougt a few things were interesting and cool. its got a centrino duo in it, and its got a little sticker that says "vista capable" on it.
also, it had google desktop already installed and running on it when I set up the computer... I thought this was kinda interesting, and was wondering if this is something Dell has been doing for a while or not, and comments?

vista capable sounds interesting. i remember purchasing a computer with windows me that said it was xp ready. . .but when i installed the upgrade, it took away the extra functionality of the keyboard (fn+f5, etc.). i have heard that google and dell are cooperating, but i'
m not sure the full extent.

Everything is vista capeable right now. In fact, everything built right now is probably aero capeable too according to dl.tv.
The deal to put google desktop on dell machines was struck in jan or feb, I think.
