i tried thunderbird for a while, but had too many issues. i reserve outlook for intercity.org email only. . .so my options were sparse (i have about 18 accounts that dump into outlook express).

Yeah, there isn't a great alternative, and when you have many email accounts (i have a few and i dont even have a job...), its nice to have them together. fortunately i just use gmail webmail which can act as an aggregator, and send mail securely without a pgp add-on... and before i stray too off-topic...

i cant seem to hit 70 in this game. I've gotten 68 twice, and 69 once. I feel like an idiot. To me it seems that the fire one is near worthless past the first 40 waves or so. The early upgrades for it are cheap, but the last 2 or 3 upgrades are really expensive, and at its most upgraded point its the weakest. One more thing- does anyone else find any use at all in the storm cloud since you cant upgrade it at all? This is pretty sad... discussing strategies on a 68 kb flash game...

the storm is great early on, but ends up worthless. the fire does not have good range, but i've had fairly good success with mixing the order of elements and spreading them out. . .especially at the beginning. the game does "cheat" by removing towers in the later rounds, so save up cash to replace them.

the best towers, that dont cost the 3k to get them, are the green ones, fully upgraded they almost match the 3k ones in damage and i think have more range

actually the funny thing about the flowers, is it costs 3k to be able to buy it, but if u watch carefully, it only deducts 2k from your gold... they dont seem to be all that great though. To me it seems that the fire one ends up being not worth all that much, the early upgrades are quick and cheap, but then you have to toss out 2100 gold for the last two upgrades (600 and 1500), and its range never does get better. I've tried (for fun) a couple games where I only used one element and didnt get much accomplished... it doesnt work.

Edit: ... I must be doing something wrong, I can't do any better than 71, no lie, what in the world am I doing wrong... I feel like an idiot, do you plop down a bunch of towers early and slowly upgrade them, or focus on upgrading a few towers early. I must be missing something...

Week 7: Bowman 1 & 2

These games, the second basically being an upgrade and better, but I put the first one just for you originalist people who think that sequels are bad and all that junk, are pretty neat and can be played on sort notice, a semi-good waster of time. Well this game is one where you shot arrows at another stick figure guy, so for those of you who thought that Week 2's game, Defend, was too modern in the destruction of stick figures, this one should satisfy you. So have fun and this one doesn't have a record to beat, so no cds0582 whining about not being able to get better than 71.

Week 8: Diesel and Death

This game is a pretty neat little game where you race another motorcycle, you being death and the other diesel . Sorta addicting and fun, I like using the nuke on the other guy if i have it. Of course this isnt the most complex game, but who needs to play that many complex games, you need to be able to just relax after you've failed your exams, so have fun.

Week 9: wpnFire

I've heard that complaints have been going around about the game of the week not being the best, or that you've played it two years ago, or that it's stupid. Just to alleviate the pain when I hear these complaints, I want to remind you that these are the game of the week, not the best, or worst game, but of the week, so some weeks might just be the oldest, most boring game of the week, but that is not true hopefully, I'm trying to find good games.
So this week I'm trying to compensate with a game, that even if you have played it, is still pretty sweet. You are now a stick dude, I know that this is the three stick figure killing game in this thread, so what if killing stick figures are fun, and you have sweet weapons to kill these guys. So you can run around with sweet weapons and kick and take these guys out. So if any of you want to see who can get the best record in survival mode or destruction mode, we can have a little competition like with Tower Defense (no cheating please, tr). So have fun,

wpnFire

unfortunately there's no way to get your score after you die.

Week 10: The Adventures of Fancy Pants Man

Well this week I'm stepping away from the violence and going more towards a game were you might have to think to solve your problems than just shooting. Not too bad of a game except it only has one world so far, but three levels. Pretty neat idea and not too shabby. Its fun to play, just wished there was another world. If you find this game with more than just the one world, post the link, thanks.

Week 11: War Bears

Seems more like the game of the biweekly, rather than week, but at least i'm doing it now, so be happy. Actually, this is more like two games than one, so might as well say that i'm making up for missing last week. Now you control these war bears who have, as of now, two missions (the two games), and it's pretty fun, but can take a while to beat each mission. There is violence but not randomly, you got to think, and there is some pretty funny humor in it. Don't give up on the first try, cause it took me a couple of hours to beat both of them, the second being the longest. So if you have any questions on how to keep going on in the mission, just ask away. Have fun and if you want to get start a competition on highest score and/or speed to the finish, why not, my record is around 30 minutes to complete each one.
