not too sure what to think about "buttonless." i haven't had 100% success with gestures. . .and i really despise shaking the device to get it to do things.

yeah

I had the gesture thing turned on for awhile and liked it but if I want to use and app like penultimate I have to turned the gesture thing off.

good points

will be interesting as always...they usually do something very underwhelming and at the same time something you wouldn't expect.

the 8 gig ipad2 is an interesting idea since that is what they have done with iphones in the past.

I have debated trying to sell my ipad this week but decided to just wait and see

8gb ipad2 might work for me as well. . .since i really don't store a lot of stuff on my ipad. If i wanted to load up a bunch of vids, i could do that on my 32 gb ipad1.

Interesting. I know apple has been working on the hologram 3d stuff but I think we are a ways out from that. The edge display could be a real possibility.

I am expecting at least a one more thing :-)

i thought cook didn't carry on the "one more thing" legacy.

i have mixed thoughts about the edge display. i like what it looks like when you set it down, but how are you supposed to hold it? and how do you design a carrying case that doesn't cover any of the screen?

Yeah not sure on cook but it seems like a new apple tv is coming based in reports.

They could do a smart cover to cover it but they would have to have special logic to ignore the touching where the "bezel" is now. I am guessing mr Ives won't go for it.

I am very interested to see what they do and if they go high res will the performance be good enough.

I think it is interesting that the new one is just the iPad. Seems like they are getting the names cleaned up so they can have an iPad and an iPad Mini :-)
