Seems like an odd name but I think Amazon has a good shot at giving Apple a run.

if they can pull off a stable tablet for less than $300 it will surpass the galaxy tab and be a great ipad competitor. . .but i'm not holding my breath.

I am sure hoping they do....Android has pushed apple in the phone space and they need to be pushed more in the tablet space, I think.

yeah seems like apple will have to do something to counter it but I am sure they saved some money by not having cameras on it.

I think the prices of 79,99 for kindles is pretty nice too!

There has to be room for 7inch tablets and I would like to have one that size too but I don't know that I could give up my larger ipad2 tho to just switch to the smaller size :-)

i'm sure a lot of users would prefer having a camera for video chat, but the price point makes that the issue.

the $79 kindle doesn't have a keyboard. . .but that may not matter to most of their clientele.

i used to think a 7" tablet was pointless, but my mind has changed after looking at them. there are many potential uses for something that size and the increased battery life and portability factor in for those travelling a lot.
