Phone Battery Life
I have a android phone and my battery is dying extremely quick. I have only had it for about 6 months. I have the task manager application to make sure things are not consistently running but is there anything else that could help the battery life of the phone?

is it CDMA? CDMA technology drains batteries faster than GSM but is better for voice calls.
Is the screen brightness set high?
Not sure how notifications work on Android but to help batteries on iOS devices we can shut down some notifications and we can set our email to push manually which helps as well.
Another thing that I have heard people doing is turning off 3g when they don'
t need it and using the slower networks because they are apparently less taxing on batteries.

not much to add to that.
the only other thing i'
ve read is to not use vibrate + ring. apparently the vibrate function eats up the battery.

Yes, it is CDMA.
The brightness is set to lowest I can.
I will have to try shutting of 3g, limiting the notifications and manual email because I haven'
t done those.
I never have my phone on vibrate and ring. It is either silent or ring.
