I am putting this hear cause we don'
t have phone cats yet.
What is the best way to stop a program from running on Android?
Is there a way to make sure certain apps close automatically. I played with my MIL (mother in law) new Samsung Sprint android phone and she goes into an app called app killer or something to stop her apps each time.

i have 2 different programs i use. one is called advanced task killer free. you can set certain programs to never die and some to die upon clicking (or you can manually kill programs individually). i'
m not too retentive about it, but if things slow down, i'
ll kill unnecesarry apps.
the other one i use is called auto process killer. the only thing i don'
t like about this one is that it doesn'
t seem to remain running after a power down (like when i wait too long to recharge the battery). however, this program automatically kills all unchecked processes/programs on a scheduled interval. i set mine to kill every 30 minutes--not because i use a lot of programs, but because the home app that i like seems to randomly open apps in the background.
