learn2asp.net
for those who were asking about getting visual studio 2005, here is the site that i was telling you about (http://www.learn2asp.net/Campaign.aspx). apparently, the original offer has changed, but you may want the book.

sweet. they sent me the standard edition, but now they are offering 90 days of the pro edition and a free book. i'
ll try to keep an eye on it for better offers in the future. the other nice thing is that they have free tutorials on asp.net, php, and cold fusion.

Have you looked at Ruby on Rails. I am thinking about getting a book on that and trying to learn it. Most web2.0 sites, I think are built on that.

the build i downloaded crashed on install. apparently there is a newer (more-stable) build, but i haven'
t had time to play with it. if you learn it, i'
ll pick your brain.
