First couple ads popped up. Not anything exciting really, but there's an email update signup at the top that will email you and let you know when new ads pop up.
I'm definitely planning on getting at least a decent-sized external HDD...

One thing that I saw at the BlackFriday.info site was a coupon page that looks like it has some good deals. I didn't notice it on the bfads site but then again I may just have missed it.
I think it will be interesting to see if things are cut down even more this time around just because no one will come unless the are super good deals because everyone is penny pinching or out of a job.

yeah the economy depends somewhat on the area, I think. I have heard that certain big ticket items like TVs and computers will be really great deals this year.
with Circuit City closing so many stores that may play into it as well.

yeah i'm not seeing much either... the thing i'm really looking for is a good-sized external HDD (250gb-500gb range) for backups/storage, but the best i saw was i think a 320 for about 70 iirc...
the deals dont seem to be quite as good as past years, unless i'm just not remembering right...

Just a bit of advice on the external hard drive, make sure you get a fire wire or something because two years ago I got a USB and it's as slow as dirt. Really makes me not like using it.
