so if you are using multiple monitors, if you type this the computer you are connecting into will go onto the second monitor or what? would test it myself but don't have a second monitor at the moment...

also, couldn't you edit that into the standard RDP exe command so that it always opens like that?

actually that is the way it would normally work. though i haven't tested it yet, i'm pretty sure what this does is allow you to have both screens function as dual monitors for the remote computer. so if you were logging into the terminal, both of your screens would be connected to the terminal.

Yep TR is right...yes you could create a shortcut or modify a short cut to have that switch..I haven't seen it is a GUI option on the program tho which is why most people still do not know about it.

The result isn't perfect but it is much better....
Scenario.

I VPN from home and work from home. I connect to my machine at work via RDP.
If I hook up a monitor to my macbook I have work on my machine from work just like I was at work. Have my Outlook or SQL ide open on once screen and my Visual studio on another screen.

For me this is huge because at work I have two 19 lcds and it is hard for me to work at home and get a lot of coding done when I am confined to one screen.
