believe it or not, thats actually not as good a deal as what we got... me and walker paid about $1500 apiece for our systems, so $3000. I just built a system identical to the ones we got, and it came out to just over $2300. half of that is $1150, add the two together and you get $3450, which is more expensive.

thats how good our deal was...

4 gig... 2.4 ghz core 2, 320gb HDD, 1900x1200 res, 256mb NVidia card...

the big things that pushed it up that high was the photoshop elements and premiere elements, and even bigger was the 4-yr onsite warranty including accidental damage/theft protection...

Mr. Smith, The computer that starts at $1300 didn't have what I got and I paid $1300 hundred with taxes and everything.

The differences are
I got a 2.4 processor it only has 2.0
I got High Definition resolution it only has High resolution
I got a 256 dedicated graphics it only has 128 dedicated.
I got 2 year in home warranty it only has one year.
I got Next gen wireless it only has g wireless
I got bluetooth and it didn't have it.
I got a better sound card

I paid $1300 dollars total with taxes and I got more than what they are offering. It would cost about $1,754 without taxes to get the machine I got.
