Restricting Printer Use
Is there any way to restrict the use of a printer other than adjusting the time that it is available for use if I do not have multiple Log-ins on my computer?

yeah unplug it :-)
-- assign a bad driver to it when you are not at your computer.
other than that it is hard for the computer to know you are not you if you don'
t have multiple logins :-)

Can u give a bit more detail on your situation? You'
ve def got less options to begin with without multiple logins. You could still do it I would think, but anyone with some computer smarts could change it on you.

My sistuation is that it is our church'
s computer that my sister uses for personal use. My parents really don'
t get involved in computer issues when I ask my sister not to use the printer, but now there are 1,000s of unnacounted pages that have been printed. I have changed the time that the printer is available from 12:00 to 1:00 A.M., so as long as I get on before midnight, the files that she tried to print are still in the queue and can be deleted. I don'
t think anybody in my family is smart enough to figure that out, but it'
s a pain to have to remember to do that every night.

sounds like you might want to create another user account or something.
