I think M$ had even looked at buying Dell not too long ago

I think it is funny that the next M$ CEO may be the same guy that ran Nokia into the ground so M$ could buy them cheap.

probably not but I actually like ballmer.....he is a salesman and seems to be excited etc. I have read that he is actually a nice guy too.

He is just not either a good financial/Opps CEO like Time Cook or Eric Schmidt or a visionary like Bezos or Musk

I think the environment Microsoft has created is what has hurt it the most. Sad, but google seems to be copying Microsoft corp environment too. Stacked ranking doesn't work in "creative" companies.
