What are the best brands for windows based hardware? I don't really do much with purchasing windows hardware any more so I don't know.

I'm not sure how well the thinkpad line is holding up under Lenovo
I like my Asus, but it has gotten hot a couple of times.

yeah I am thinking we will stay mac but wanted to check since I get asked a lot.

Aubrey uses my old macbook almost everyday for math homework. I am hoping to get an imac or mac mini after the Microsoft build conference but if they give me some awesome windows machine I could change my mind :-)
