yeah....there sure seems to be more and more evidence to support it.
Seems like if they can have one ready by the time the new google tablet (by Acer) and new kindle fire comes out there would be some really good competition in that segment.
I like having the bigger screen but the smaller screen makes a lot of sense for when you are on the go. My ipad in my scott e vest fits but it is still weird since it is so big and heavy to have it in a pocket.

it is also a little cumbersome for preaching on a narrow pulpit. i think an 8" (or 7.85"
might be a better form factor and still give more space than the fire.

:-) I was teasing my dad about speaking from one when he teaches SS...
He is funny because he likes his iphone but still doesn'
t really know if he should use it in church etc.
I pretty much always use the Bible app on my iphone...used to bring my ipad but don'
t as often anymore. I have noticed more and more tablets at church though...even some nooks :-)

yeah, there is a decent-size debate online about whether or not preachers/teachers should use electronic devices for speaking. makes me wonder if people used to argue for scroll-only when the codex was first introduced.
we have several tablets at ic. i'
ve seen some nook colors, some kindles and fires, and ipads at each service.

Well, I think the problem with using a ipad or some technology when speaking is if you have to move to many passages it can be a bit difficult. Also, a little difficult if you need both your notes and Bible on the same device.

actually, i usually copy the main passage into my notes along with any other texts i use. . .so it decreases time spent flipping/swiping to different passages.

if not, Sniper I am sure you could write an app for that :-)
multiple screens? iphone/ipad
sell pulpits that are basically the Microsoft Surface :-)
At our church they can use several different versions during a service so having a digital Bible is very handy although they generally project whatever passage the speaker is reading. I usually like to read verses around the verses that are being read though.
It would be pretty funny if someone was using it and they forgot to turn off wifi/notifications and they got an iMessage.
