yeah they kicked the guy out of the dev program and pulled the app

I think they have already patched it though with

I am amazed it is taking so long to get viruses etc on iOS..

It has been 4 years and there has only been a few.

The nice part is the patch can now just roll out OTA and doesn't require carrier approval
as usual.

I still expect the malware to grow on iOS over time somehow.

although there are still more android sets than iphone so maybe android will turn into M$ with viruses

yeah...it would seem in order to get that you would be getting apps from people that aren't trusted though right?

the chances EA or one of the big app makers is going to do malware should be pretty small on any platform. I still don't generally buy apps unless I really think they are quality. I have a feeling the ur high crowd gets targeted with a lot of this stuff since they seem to latch on to all kinds of stupid apps.

it willreally be interesting when someday a battery or data usage issue is traced to malware
