What do you mean by "not commenting code?" Like you don't have to comment code? And the unit testing, my group project class is having to use the unit testing and that was the first time I've ever heard of it.

If you read clean code you will get it

If a coder is commenting his code that means he is not naming variables and methods correctly and trying to do more than one thing in a method

Unit testing methods by writing the tests than the code drives good naming and design because it is hard to write good unit tests if your methods and classes are not laid out correctly. I am a big fan of using moq so unit tests don't interact with DBs and web servers except for integration tests

I don't agree with everything that Uncle Bob Martin says but he Is spot on more than he is off.

TR your javascript worked like a charm. I haven't made it yet but I tested it out on my phone and it was awesome, thanks!

Let me know what you guys think. It's for my group project. We are making a search engine to look up hot spots pretty much and of course they made the least creative person on the team in charge of the creative aspect of it.

Ya, it actually doesn't do anything yet. I am only in charge of what it looks like as of right now. The other people are working on the back end stuff.
