Virtual Machine
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a free software that would allow me to install some virtual machines on my computer.

I also was wondering if I do set up a virtual machine and I assign some memory and hard drive space for it, do I lose that space until I remove the virtual machine, or do I lose the space if the machine is running?

Basically, any information about virtual machines would be great.
