Android loads webpages faster or..
I read the first article before the retraction and was quite shocked by the findings...then I saw how they were testing and it makes more sense now.

i've seen some comparison videos that do use safari and it seems like android loads the pages differently. one of them loads objects individually and the other one waits until the whole page is loading to display anything, but i don't recall which was which.

i'm sure it isn't a dealbreaker either way for iphone users.

probably not...but I could see that if they can get enough statistics to prove the iOS browser is slower it would be great in an Android ad campaign.

yeah. . .which is unfortunate. this to me is the failure of marketing. i wish they would stick to what is important and point to the true advantages. android devices are not ios devices that run a faster browser, they are a different animal altogether. also, iphone users are not looking for a device with a faster browser.

as a user of both ios and android devices, i embrace the diversity.
