I am not totally sure why this has gotten so big. If you write any application you write exception handling that logs all kinds of user information. It would seem that if you are using a device on someone'
s network they may track all kinds of stuff. I don'
t like it but it seems fairly reasonable and they need to make sure anything that is logged is extremely secure..they may also want to deIdentify any of the information. We have to do that for all the surveys we take in at work.

he never demonstrated that the captured info was sent anywhere. . .at least not at the beginning where he was in airplane mode.
