FYI, 1and1 recently did some "server maintenance" and moved this site to a new server. When copying the files, they apparently grabbed the files from an old backup. I am presently attempting to get a more recent copy of the database restored so that our recent posts will be seen. Please do not post new threads until this issue is resolved.

they claim that they have restored the most recent version, but i think the most recent version was accidentally toasted by someone on their staff inadvertently. . .or that when the server crashed they pitched the offending drive.

i'm considering moving to a new host and building the forum on php. we can keep this db as an archive and just start over with the new site.
