other than the lack of wrist support and the touchpad buttons being harder to press, i really like it. battery usually lasts 7+ hours. proc is slower than what i'm used to, but since it isn't my main machine, i am still pleased with the performance.

I think i remember seeing somewhere that asus had a touch screen net book. Correct me if i'm wrong though. It might've just been a concept

http://www.slashgear.com/asus-touchscreen-eee-pc-at-ces-2009-dual-core-atom-asap-0918743/ is what violist was talking about. i'm not really sure this is something that i would want. there was a day when i thought a tablet would be great to have in class, but this almost seems less useful.
