How to copy a link location on a mac?
I have someone that wants to know how you copy a link location on a mac. Not copying the url.

You know when you right click on something using a pc and click the option copy link location or copy shortcut. How do you do that on a mac?

you can right click if you have a mouse and do the same thing or you can hold down control and do a left click...if you are on a laptop.

This kind of thing exactly is my single-greatest gripe on mac laptops... come on jobs, just give us a second mouse button already! I know some people say "well if you plug in a mouse you are fine," but who does that? I don't want to have to carry a mouse with me, and a touchpad really is easy to handle... Then the "solution" is that ctrl-click does the same thing, but that requires two hands and takes longer. Maybe this only affects people like me who always want to find the most efficient way to do something (yes, I'm partially obsessive)- but still... Saying that you don't need two buttons because one is enough is like saying you don't need two headlights because one is enough to light up the road in front of you...

yeah use to bug me a lot too but now I don't even think about it. the truth is the OS is more simple so it probably requires less right clicking. but you are right they should include it.

oh well I still wouldn't trade mine -- virus and spyware free for two years.

i almost always plug a mouse into my laptop. regardless of hassle, it is faster for me to use a mouse than the touchpad. . .which equates to efficiency in my mind. the eraser head isn't too bad. . .until you want to scroll.
