Couple things coming out shortly.

1. Mario Kart comes out later this week...I think Sunday -- I plan to get it

2. I read about an updated online gaming community for the wii to buy games on line for it...coming out May 12, I believe.

Anyone else have information on either of these items...
also curious as to how many of you have a ps3 already....I am thinking about getting one soon. (since my hddvd is now obsolete)

As much as ps3-bashing has been big, it still is a steal for the price to be honest IF you plan on using the blu-ray player... good games for the ps3? havent heard of any...

you get the super smash bros game for the wii? heard it was good, but haven't played it...

mario kart games have been and always will be fun, especially with all the online options its suppose to have...

I like mi wii and it is fun and all but when I want to play sports games I always go to my ps2.
If I get a ps3 it will be for the blueray and for playing sports games mainly...I played FIFA 08 on a ps3 the other day. It was awesome. The graphics are so much better than ps2 and the player moves much better. My biggest beaf is that the new ps3 models aren't backwards compatible which is dumb.

I have a friend whose mom works at meijer...
When meijer has that 15% off (or whatever) on all general merchandise he has his mom use her employee discount and can get them much cheaper. (i think she gets an extra 10% off). I think final price would be like 320 or something after tax.

that's not a bad deal. not being backwards compatible is almost as unforgivable as the rootkit debacle.
