office 2007 help
m$ did something nice/helpful for a change. in order to help us bridge the gap from the "old" style menu system to the new, they have developed the following to show us the way. it is pretty cool. once you launch the guide (click on "start the guide"), it will show you the 2003 version menu. when you choose an option, it will switch to 2007 and show you how to do it on the new menu.

for example, in word if you used to go to the file menu for setting page margins, you would choose the file menu and click page setup, then the guide will fade out the 2003 menu and show you how to adjust margins in 2007.

word 2007

excel 2007

powerpoint 2007

outlook 2007

This is the first time I've really seen how the UI works, and I'm playing with Word right now, and it seems like a massive improvement to me... It would take some slight getting used to, but I still like it...
