Bit Torrent
Im trying to use port fowarding on a linksys RT31P2 router. Trying to manually open port 27999 its still not letting bit torrent use that port. Any help thanks

you shouldn't need to really open any ports for bittorrent to work...what client are you using?

i got it but not from that my router was not set up 4 a static ip so i had 2 configue one in my tcp/ip properties but thanks for the help

I far prefer utorrent over azureus (or anything else for that matter), you could just turn on UPnP forwarding if it's enabled on your router, makes life much easier (yeah techinically its a bit unsafe but being afraid of UPnP is being a bit paranoid if you're only a home user).
