Microphone Problems
I'
ve got an issue that kinda came out of the blue. I fired up skype a few days ago and made a call, and my microphone would only work if I blew into it as hard as I could. I figured maybe it was a microphone problem, so I unplugged it and used the built-in microphone, which predictably, didn'
t work. I then figured it was a skype problem, I tested with sound recorder, google talk, and one other thing and confirmed it'
s not a skype problem. I fished through in the control panel and found the microphone mixer and it'
s turned all the way up... Any ideas? The thing that stumps me is its all microphones, plugged in or built-in, so there'
s got to be a messed up setting somewhere, I'
m just not sure where all to look. I used the microphone for something probably two weeks ago or so, so it has worked before (lots of times), I can'
t think of what could'
ve changed...
