Restricting Printer Use
Is there any way to restrict the use of a printer other than adjusting the time that it is available for use if I do not have multiple Log-ins on my computer?

I didn't spell it wrong. I'm so awesome, they had to redefine the word--in a different spelling :P

yeah unplug it :-)

-- assign a bad driver to it when you are not at your computer.

other than that it is hard for the computer to know you are not you if you don't have multiple logins :-)

Can u give a bit more detail on your situation? You've def got less options to begin with without multiple logins. You could still do it I would think, but anyone with some computer smarts could change it on you.

My sistuation is that it is our church's computer that my sister uses for personal use. My parents really don't get involved in computer issues when I ask my sister not to use the printer, but now there are 1,000s of unnacounted pages that have been printed. I have changed the time that the printer is available from 12:00 to 1:00 A.M., so as long as I get on before midnight, the files that she tried to print are still in the queue and can be deleted. I don't think anybody in my family is smart enough to figure that out, but it's a pain to have to remember to do that every night.

sounds like you might want to create another user account or something.
