Which part of it are you talking about? Like the flip-down cover on it or which part? I am near a store that'
s got a white macbook and a black macbook right next to each other, and I'
m not sure I'
ve noticed a difference before, I'
ll have to check closely next time I'
m at the store.
Hmm, I guess I would have to get used to an eraser, it takes me forever to move it to where i want it to be, must just be the inexperience with it and being used to using a touchpad...
@pbm
There'
s actually tons of competition out there. Right now I think sales look something like this: 1st- Dell 2nd- HP (those two are incredibly close, HP might actually be leading, depending on who'
s graph you look at), 3rd- Apple (recently), and then after that you see laptops from lenovo and acer and similar companies that are actually very nice and look good. I think competition in the market of home computers actually is beginning to rival that of the cell phone market in how wide open its becoming, with no clear-cut leader. these "other companies" are coming on fast, remember, just a couple years ago Apple was one of these "other companies" and suddenly their shares are growing faster than any company, the macbook is the fastest growing laptop, the iPod is continually dominant, they are now plunging into the phone market with an extremely impressive first entry... things change fast

It was the back of the monitor supposedly. Heard it from Kevin rose cause he had the DIGG logo etched into his laptop and he said his was metal. Seemed odd to me.
